We adore the hazy, rouge-hued glow that porcelain naturally emits, complemented by the ridges and fine lines crafted by ceramic artisan Hirotaka Tobimatsu. These lines are the result of burr marks from the split mold casting process that Tobimatsu expertly employs in his designs. The off-white surfaces, intentionally left unglazed, enhance the soft illumination effect and leave a paper-like impression on the senses.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Balloon lamp is inspired by the world renown hot air balloon competitions in Tobimatsu's hometown in Saga Prefecture.
