Each unique piece in this series is centered around Mochizuki's idiosyncratic understanding of love, which we feel is pertinent in such times of loneliness and uncertainty. The rich tones of this artwork is made using traditional tsutsugaki resist-dye technique, allowing ink to penetrate the fibers of its material base while playing with negative and positive space.
